Fueling an electric vehicles costs $17.33 per gallon, Jason Issac and Lauren Fix discuss the American Energy Institute most recent report on the true cost of an electric cars to all Americans.

The cost of producing electric vehicles (EVs) is far higher than the prices they are being sold for.
Nearly $22 billion in federal and state subsidies and regulatory credits suppressed the retail price
of EVs in 2021 by an average of almost $50,000.

Thanks to an unlawful multiplier, EVs receive nearly seven times more credits under federal fuel
efficiency programs than they provide in actual fuel economy benefits.

Regulatory credits with bonus EV multipliers from federal fuel efficiency and greenhouse gas
emissions standards and state EV sales mandates provide an average of $27,881 in benefits per
vehicle for producers of EVs.

Home and public charging stations used by EVs put a significant strain on the electric grid, resulting in an average of $11,833 in socialized costs per EV over 10 years, which are shouldered by utility ratepayers and taxpayers.

Direct state and federal subsidies for EVs average $8,984 per vehicle over 10 years.

2023 Ford F150 Raptor R – I Had To Buy One!

The 2023 Ford F150 Raptor R is full of gnarly performance, and unbeatable off-road capability. The F-150 Raptor is one seriously intense truck, but it's surprisingly amenable to everyday. I couldn't help myself - we had to buy one.

Most Raptors are powered by a twin-turbo 450-hp V-6 bolted to a 10-speed automatic transmission. But the Raptor R is powered by a 5.2-liter super charged V8 engine with 700 horsepower and 640 lb.-ft. of torque.
It uses a 700-hp version of the Mustang Shelby GT500's supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 with a paddle-shifted 10-speed automatic transmission.

0 - 60 MPH = 3.6 seconds
Top Speed: 114 mph
Towing capacity of 8,700 pounds

The R comes standard with 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 tires
Suspension that includes larger internal-bypass dampers and a 5-link rear coil-spring setup.9.75-inch rear axle with an electronically controlled locking rear differential with a 4:10:1 ratio will come standard R stiffer front springs and specially tuned dampers to handle the extra weight.
Smoothest rides we've experienced in a full-size pickup. Long-travel suspension, which is specifically designed to absorb the bumps, dips, and jumps of high-speed off-roading, is wonderfully soft and forgiving over everyday potholes and lumpy pavement.

The 2023 Nissan Armada continues to meet the needs of drivers looking for full-size SUV strength and capability with an extensive list of premium features and technologies. For 2023, Armada further enhances its appeal with additional hands-free technology and more standard features.

Powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine with 400-horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, backed by a 7-speed automatic transmission. It does 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds. It runs on premium fuel with a 8,500-pound maximum tow rating.
