In this video, here is the first look "hands-on" with the Genesis GV80 Coupe Concept at an exclusive event at Genesis House New York. We were told this vehicle will be sold as a gas engine.
The four-passenger GV80 Coupe Concept adds a new facet to the Genesis brand. It emphasizes the Athletic and Elegant parameters of Genesis’ design philosophy. It is a statement of intent for more emotional, performance-oriented models and a preview of Genesis’ future programs.
Now Genesis is pushing the envelope with more emotional cars that elevate Genesis’ performance and dynamic attributes. We love the Lava Orange color and its ready for production. The four-seat SUV coupe is a sportier take on the company's mid-size GV80.
The GV80 Coupe shows a carbon-fiber roof and aggressive ducktail rear spoiler. Inside is a plethora of Alcantara surrounding four carbon-fiber-shelled bucket seats, each with a hand pump to inflate their bolsters. Behind the passenger cabin is a beefy cross brace.
