Sure, you can call the 2021 Toyota Tundra old, as long as you mean it as old reliable. The aging Toyota Tundra just scored a significant victory as the most reliable full-size truck for 2021. You can really depend on this option to hold up against rivals.

Is the 2021 Toyota Tundra reliable?

2021 Toyota Tundra | Toyota

Yes, the 2021 Toyota Tundra is the most reliable full-size truck you can buy. According to Pickup Truck Talk, the Tundra excels with high predicted reliability ratings from Consumer Reports. It has a low number of complaints listed on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) site.

The trucks are ranked based on predicted reliability scores from Consumer Reports, where drivers list problems they faced with previous models. NHTSA complaints and recalls are also taken into consideration. For example, they lowered the ranking of the 2021 Ram 1500 due to the amount of severity of complaints found on the NHTSA site.

The 2021 Nissan Titan came in second place, the 2021 Ford F-150 came in third, the 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 landed in fourth place, the GMC Sierra 1500 got fifth place, and the 2021 Ram 1500 was in last place.

What makes the Tundra reliable?

The 2021 Toyota Tundra is in its final year before it gets a total redesign. We can’t see what’s on the way for the 2022 Toyota Tundra. But until then, we know that the Tundra is incredibly reliable.

This isn’t a surprise because the current generation has been in production for seven years. That’s plenty of time to work out all the bugs and problems that may have occurred. The Ram 1500 was redesigned in 2019, so it should be improving by now.

Toyota tends to have an excellent reputation for providing long-lasting, reliable options. But what’s surprising is the fact that the 2021 Tundra has zero complaints listed on NHTSA and Consumer Reports

Issues on older Toyota Tundra models include brake problems for the 2016 and 2017 models, in-car electronic issues for the 2015 model, suspension issues for the 2016 model, and body hardware problems for the 2018 model.

What issues do other trucks face?

While the 2021 Toyota Tundra currently has zero recalls and issues reported, rivals didn’t achieve the same level of reliability. For example, the 2021 Ford F-150 had three recalls with 17 complaints.

The most concerning complaint involve braking failure. The 2020 Ford F-150 has seven recalls and 90 consumer complaints, so even though the 2021 model features a redesign, this truck is improving.

The GMC Sierra 1500 racked up three recalls so far. It shares the same recalls with the Silverado, but they had different problems reported. The biggest issue for the GMC Sierra involves engine fires, but there isn’t an open NHTSA investigation on this matter or a TBS that addresses the concern.

Last but not least, the 2021 Ram 1500 only has one recall for the year. However, it has 30 complaints listed by the NHTSA and 148 TSBs. The biggest and most common complaint involves the engine stalling while in motion.

If you’re looking for a reliable truck, you can currently trust the 2021 Toyota Tundra to last. The 2022 Tundra may have new issues to work out with its updated powertrain options and equipment, but we will keep you updated as we learn more.

Golf carts are not only for the golf course. These versatile machines are also used as university campus security vehicles, airport passenger transport, and fun camper companions. Some have even been custom-tailored to have cute or more functional looks. So, what are you looking for in your next golf cart, and which model is the best for your wants and needs?

When you choose your golf cart, you will look for a few different things to get the most for your money. The first choice is usually new or used. Used golf carts can pose some issues later down the road, as wear and tear have already begun. On the other hand, new models won’t be damaged outside or inside but can be a bigger burden on the wallet.

Additional features you will want to look at are the windshield, seating, headlights, canopy, and storage options, among its other amenities. You will want to make sure that these items are in immaculate condition unless you are looking to repair the golf cart before using it. Furthermore, the gas tank and/or battery condition is by far the most important thing to inquire about.

Electric or gas?

Golf carts were initially gas-powered vehicles intended to accompany golfers on their long 18-hole trips across the green. Intended to decrease walking distance and caddy need, these carts soon became a golfer’s best friend. Later on, electric models were created to offset the noise and pollution a gas-powered cart produced.

Gas-powered carts are a trifle faster, with the ability to go longer and haul heavier loads. Unfortunately, they do produce more environmental hazards such as noise and air pollution. So long as the gas tank is full, gas-powered models are ready to roll in minutes.

The benefits of an electric golf cart include versatility and quiet battery operation. However, they also require extended charging times and are often slower than gas-powered carts.

Best golf cart models

In recent studies, there have been a few models that have outperformed the others. MotorBiscuit found two lists, Golf Span and Los Angeles Times, which have shown us their top favorites.

One of Golf Span’s favorites is the Yamaha Super Hauler. This golf cart is anything but ordinary! Boasting a truck-like back end, it can help you around the yard, campground, or even at work carrying heavy cargo. Depending on the setup and whether it’s used or new, you can expect to spend at least $6,000 on this beauty.

The LA Times’ top model is the E-Z-Go Freedom RXV Golf Cart. The model boasts a top speed of 19.5 mph and a 48-volt motor. It comes in 12 different colors. Its cost ranges between $7,000 to $12,000 with fully decked-out accessories.

Want something street-legal to put in your toy hauler for camping trips? Garia has introduced two street-legal models to get you from your RV to the corner store quickly. The Garia Monaco or Garia Via is ideal for short runs around the camp, golf course, or neighborhood. Including safety features such as seat belts and large cabin space, these golf carts can also come with high-tech amenities. These include a built-in refrigerator and charging ports for electronic devices. For these luxurious models, you will have to request a quote to find out the price.

Whether it’s camping, golfing, fishing, or just driving around the yard or neighborhood, golf carts are convenient and fun to use. Electric or gas, advanced or basic, these vehicles will help you move, haul, or travel wherever you desire.

There are plenty of myths about speeding tickets. But does your car’s color, whether or not you have a spoiler, or the brand of your car actually matter? Well, it might. A new study shows that certain car brands get more tickets than others – and it’s not red Ferraris.

Although we can see the stats, the stats themselves don’t prove all that much. Why do certain cars get more tickets than others? It isn’t usually the fastest cars. So, then it must be something to do with the people who buy certain cars. Let’s take a closer look at which car brands get the most speeding tickets.

Alfa Romeo drivers got more speeding tickets than any other drivers

According to Gear Patrol, the national average of drivers with a speeding ticket on their record is 10.53. Considering that number, some of these brands show more than the overall average just with drivers who drive these cars.

Alfa Romeo drivers get more speeding tickets than any other drivers. On average, 14.91 out of 100 Alfa Romeo drivers get tickets in an Alpha. Considering this number, Alfa Romeo drivers are 41.45 percent more likely to get a ticket than drivers of other cars.

Alfa Romeo Guilia owners got the most tickets with 16.35/100, and Alfa Romeo Stelvio owners got the least with 12.08/100, which is still higher than the national average.

You already knew Subaru would be on the most speeding tickets list

Subaru’s average is a bit lower than that of Alfa drivers. Subaru drivers are 20.38 percent more likely to get speeding tickets than other drivers. 12.41 out of 100 Subaru drivers get tickets.

The Subaru WRX predictably gets the most tickets, with 20.03/100 drivers getting caught speeding, while drivers of the Subaru Ascent get the fewest with 6.76/100.

No one saw Volkswagen coming

That’s right. Volkswagen shows up at no. 3 with 12.24 out of 100 Volkswagen drivers get tickets. With so many family-friendly, mild-mannered models, you might think that VW drivers stay off the police’s radio, but don’t forget about the boy racer special, the Volkswagen Golf GTI

The VW Golf GTI carries the team with 15.88/ 100 of its drivers get speeding tickets. The VW Beetle holds the average down, with only 9.12/100 drivers getting caught by the law.

Maserati adds up

Maserati drivers have been known to hot dog their tridents through the streets from time to time. In fact, 12.23 Maserati drivers out of 100 got tickets in this survey. That makes Maserati drivers 16.67 percent more likely to get a speeding ticket.

The Maserati GranTurismo really carries the weight, with 13.62/100 drivers getting tickets while only 9.90/100 get speeding tickets in the Quattroporte.

Don’t forget, pickup trucks get tickets, too

Ram drivers get more tickets than any other pickup truck on the market. In fact, 12.22 out of 100 Ram drivers get tickets in their trucks. For the Ram 1500, 12.28/100 drivers get ticketed while only 11.54/100 Ram 2500 are catching the red and blue lights. Ram drivers are 15.74 percent more likely to get a speeding ticket than the average driver.

Do you own one of these cars that get the most speeding tickets?

There is a reason these models get so many more tickets than drivers of other cars and trucks. Do these brands attract a certain kind of driver? Do the police just hate Ram trucks? Who knows? We know for sure that these car brands tend to get more tickets than the average driver of other car brands. Maybe you should be extra careful in your Golf GTI.

While the average consumer can only afford a car or two, the affluent are able to collect cars. Celebrities, entrepreneurs, and high-earning individuals have used their wealth to amass amazing car collections. Rapper Rick Ross is a long-time auto enthusiast with the means to get just about any car he wants. The celeb’s collection ranges from old-school Chevrolets to new Rolls-Royces.

Rapper, entertainer, record label CEO, and mogul Rick Ross does everything big. The celebrity also happens to be a huge auto enthusiast. The rapper once worked at a car wash. Now he can afford a few car lots.

Ross founded Maybach Music Group in 2009, hinting at his love for luxury vehicles. He made a song called “Purple Lamborghini” with American DJ Skrillex. He even jokingly nicknamed himself the “Ferrari fat boy” commenting that several of the sports cars he owns aren’t built for his large stature. Rick Ross has larger ambitions than most, and his estate and car collection reflect those ambitions.

The biggest car collection?

Rick Ross marketed himself as the biggest boss in many song lyrics, and his accolades back up his claim. Ross owns the largest mansion in Georgia. What do you do after you already own the biggest mansion in your state? You make sure you also have one of the biggest car collections in the world.

Rick Ross claimed to own over 100 vehicles. Despite naming his record label, Maybach Music Group, Ross actually has a great appreciation for classic American cars. Ross owns at least one custom 1960’s Chevrolet Impala and 1973 Impala. He also owns Rolls-Royce Wraiths. He owns a few Mercedes-Benz Maybachs to stay on-brand. Ross’ car collection is far more extensive than the standard multimillionaire’s few classics, sports cars, and supercars.

The rapper and entrepreneur has a classic car collection that is so large that it’s hard to imagine it stored in one location. According to Car and Driver, Rick Ross recently showed off his vintage car collection on Instagram, and it seemed endless. The video featured over 12 rare vehicles and was just the tip of the iceberg.

Rick Ross displayed multiple second-generation Chevrolet Bel Airs. The video also included some old-school trucks like the 1980s Chevrolet C/K. Ross is even known amongst car enthusiasts and was recently interviewed by Jay Leno regarding his custom red 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. We can dislike his music, we can even question his business acumen, but who can deny the man’s taste in cars?

The rapper’s taste ranges from old-school Chevys to the latest Maybachs, Rolls-Royces, and other luxury vehicles. Rick Ross has a car collection to match his huge multimillion-dollar estate. This celebrity may just live up to his promise of being the biggest boss we’ve seen thus far. Hopefully, one day, the rapper will show his entire car collection to the world. Until then, we’ll have to enjoy the quick glimpses via social media and cameos.
