Lamborghini has all sorts of operations worldwide, but Lamborghini motor yachts might be at the top of the list. The new Lamborghini Motor Yacht is finally hitting the water, and it is exactly as ridiculous as one would expect it to be. While the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 might be one of the fastest models on the land, the Lamborghini 63 Motor Yacht wins on the water.

How much is the Lamborghini 63 motor yacht?

Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group have created a new range of motor yachts for the brand. Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is a new fleet of yachts available for Lamborghini’s 1963 foundation. Lamborghini’s Centro Stile contributed to the effort and the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 served as inspiration for the boat.

”This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our co-operation allows the essence of both organisations’ style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment. If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision.”

Stefano Domenicali | Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini

Lamborghini has taken the technology used in the brand’s sports cars and used that to inspire the Lamborghini 63 motor yacht. The boar has optional colors and details that allow buyers to make it unique in every way. With that said, the price is approximately $3.4 million.

What is the 63 in Lamborghini 63 Motor Yacht?

Lamborghini 63 motor yacht | Lamborghini

Two important elements that came together for the Lamborghini 63 motor yacht are speed and dynamic lightness, the brand says. The motor yacht comes equipped with two V12-2000HP engines. This will be the fastest boat in the entire Tecnomar fleet of The Italian Sea Group. It can go up to 60 knots and utilizes carbon fiber in the design, much like Lamborghini vehicles.

If you feel like you might have heard about this boat before, you probably have. UFC champion Conor McGregor made quite a splash when he bought one back in 2020, according to Business Insider. Only 63 motor yachts will be made, making sense given the Lamborghini 63 motor yacht name. The 63 also lends to the year Lamborghini was created, 1963.

But that’s not all! The yacht is 63 feet long and weighs 24 tons. The boat’s design is supposed to mirror the classic days of the Lamborghini Countach and Miura days from back in the 60s and 70s.

The brand has been hard at work

In addition to the Lamborghini 63 Motor Yacht, Lamborghini also has a full lineup of tractors. Lamborghini offers a full range of tractors with over 21 options to buy new. In addition, there are a variety of used options on the market. Lamborghini used American-made used military surplus materials to make these first tractors. “With time, research, and passion, the brand became synonymous with innovation in the production of agricultural machinery.”

If we can take anything away from these products, it is that Lamborghini does nothing with half-effort. Full-speed ahead with tractors, boats, and sometimes supercars. But if you are considering buying any of these, you should get on it. Lamborghini has almost sold out of inventory for the 2021 year.

In the market for a budget-friendly used compact truck? If you are, you’ll be pleased to know that U.S. News has the inside track on the best used compact trucks under $20,000. Let’s talk about which affordable used compact trucks the organization chose to include in its list.

The Nissan Frontier is one of the best used compact trucks

If you’re on the hunt for an affordable used compact truck, you can’t go wrong with the Nissan Frontier. In fact, according to U.S. News, the 2009 Nissan Frontier is the best used compact truck under $20,000. U.S. News gave the 2009 model a 9.0 overall score, adding that reviewers praised the used Nissan Frontier for its “refined ride and great off-road capability, as well as its smooth powertrains.”

The 2009 Nissan Frontier wasn’t the only model year to make U.S. News’ list of the best used compact trucks under $20,000 either. As a matter of fact, the 2015 and 2013 Nissan Frontier also made the cut. While U.S. News awarded the 2015 model with an 8.5 overall score, it gave the 2013 Nissan Frontier an 8.4 overall score. U.S. News lauded both used trucks for offering a powerful V6 engine.

Most reviewers praised the used Honda Ridgeline for its “comfortable, car-like ride and relatively nimble handling.” Perhaps the only downside to the 2010 Honda Ridgeline is that it can only tow up to 5,000 pounds. Meaning, it can’t tow quite as much as most other compact trucks.

While U.S. News gave the 2011 Honda Ridgeline slightly lower ratings, it did include it among its picks for the best used compact trucks under $20,000. Similar to the 2010 and 2012 models, reviewers found that the 2011 Ridgeline boasts a “more refined ride than most other trucks.” Unfortunately, some reviewers weren’t impressed with the used Honda Ridgeline’s interior. “Some reviewers complained about the abundance of cheap plastics in the Ridgeline’s cabin, but others gave the truck high marks for offering ample storage space for smaller items,” U.S. News explained.

Things were finally going well for those who ordered a 2021 Ford Bronco. After a long delay, the Ford Bronco finally entered production. But unfortunately, Ford may have jumped the gun because production just got paused.

2021 Ford Bronco production is paused

2021 Ford Bronco | Ford

Well, this stinks! Now we have to wait even longer for the 2021 Ford Bronco to hit the streets. According to Roadshow, Ford Bronco production came to a screeching halt. Production finally started just a few weeks ago, but now the Bronco faces supply issues due to the global semiconductor shortage.

The Ford factory in Wayne, Michigan, that also builds the Ford Ranger, will be closed in July from the fifth until the 25th. This creates quite the pickle for Ford because they already have thousands of reservations to fill. It’s unclear how this massive closure will affect Bronco delivery dates.

Ford may be in hot water because it promised customers that orders would be filled before any dealer stock was allocated. But they didn’t hold their word, and some soft-top Broncos are going directly to dealers. This contradicts their promise. Also, it may mean that someone can buy a Bronco and drive it off the lot while those who made an order in advance have to wait.

The Bronco faces flood problems

If you thought things couldn’t get worse for the 2021 Ford Bronco, then we have a surprise for you. The Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan, is struggling with floodwater. The plant builds the Bronco and Ford F-150 models but was closed due to a leaking roof.

A rainstorm caused extreme flooding, with as much as six inches of rainfall. Workers couldn’t reach the plant due to road closures. As a result, factories were closed until the shipping yards were cleared of floodwater.

The Jeep plant in Detroit where the Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee SRT, Grand Cherokee L, and Dodge Durango are built was also closed. Videos and images revealed that brand new vehicles were submerged underwater.

You can barely see their rooflines. At least 25 new Jeep models were damaged, and there is an ongoing investigation to find more. The vehicles damaged by the flood water will most likely be scrapped. But on a positive note, factories are back up and running.

Is there any Bronco compensation?

Some 2021 Ford Bronco buyers are facing an indefinite delay. Along with the semiconductor shortage, Ford is struggling with supply chain issues related to the optional hardtop. Instead of going with the painted modular hardtop, buyers can change their order to the soft top or the Carbonized Grey molded-in-color removable hardtop with a free sound-deadening roof liner.

Ford will email buyers as soon as their vehicle enters production. They will be updated when their Bronco has been built and when it leaves the factory. But until then, they are unable to provide a definitive delivery window.

As compensation, Ford will enroll each buyer that’s been facing delays into the Bronco Off-Roadeo driving experience. It trains off-roaders of each skill level to confidently tackle the wild and celebrate the great outdoors.

Attendees have to pay a refundable deposit of $150 to $200 to attend, plus a $35 reservation fee. The first school is located in Texas, and there are four other locations, so you may have to drive across the country to attend. The first guest fee is $395 plus tax.

It’s good that Ford is trying to compensate buyers for waiting, but this deal feels a little complicated. We hope that the production of the Ford Bronco gets back on track soon because we’re ready to spot them and enjoy them in the wild.

The Tesla Model 3 is once again a Consumer Reports Top Pick. This news comes after a number of changes to the Tesla which resulted in Consumer Reports and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety taking away top safety awards. So what caused the Model 3 to lose its Top Pick status – and then get it back?

Most cars use radar and lidar sensors for a whole bunch of their technology. For example, lane keeping assist and forward collision warning use sensors to determine where people or other obstacles are. They relay this information back to the vehicle so that the vehicle can make decisions . Radar sensors send radio waves, while lidar sensors send light waves.

Camera-based sensors, on the other hand, only use cameras. They rely on a neural network. A neural network means Teslas communicate with one another to “learn” how to behave on the road. Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Tesla, thinks that using radar sensors in cars is a “crutch.” He believes that camera-based sensors are the way to go. In fact, he’s staked his Tesla Model 3 and Model Ys on it.

When Tesla first announced that they were getting rid of radar – sorry, that’s incorrect – when Tesla first announced that they’d already gotten rid of radar and lidar sensors, they were already shipping cars with only the camera-based systems. The general public was concerned. Were Tesla drivers essentially testing out the effectiveness of camera-based sensors as the neural network learned how to operate successfully?

Consumer Reports and the IIHS were worried about the change

Consumer Reports and the IIHS were also concerned. They award the safest vehicles with a Top Pick and Top Safety Pick (or Top Safety Pick+) award. These are dependent on the cars being in the condition they were in when they were tested. Since Consumer Reports and the IIHS hadn’t tested cars with only camera-based sensors, they had no choice but to remove the awards they’d previously given to the Tesla Model 3.

More specifically, Consumer Reports needed to test just how effective the camera-only automatic emergency braking system (AEB) and forward collision warning (FCW) systems were. Consumer Reports doesn’t give the Top Pick award to vehicles without good AEB and FCW.

The IIHS reevaluated the Tesla Model 3 with the camera-based system. After its test, it gave the 2021 Tesla Model 3 not only a Top Safety Pick award, but a Top Safety Pick+, its highest honor.

Once the IIHS had completed its evaluation and released its findings, Consumer Reports was able to restore its Top Pick status. Jake Fischer, senior director of Consumer Reports’ Auto Test Center, said, “Given the IIHS’ recent evaluations of Tesla’s new camera-based system on its Model 3 and consistent with CR’s integration of IIHS ratings into our recommendations, CR is restoring the car’s Top Pick status.”

This is good news for anyone who bought a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and wasn’t sure if it was still safe to drive. It’s also great for those who were considering buying a Model 3. Of course it’s also good for Tesla, who was likely to eager to restore its safety awards.
