2027 Toyota Tundra Changes: Toyota Finally Fixed My Biggest Complaints

This video was first publish on Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk

The 2027 Toyota Tundra changes have been revealed, and Toyota fixed many of my biggest complaints with the third-generation truck.

The updates include a more affordable SR5-based Trailhunter package, Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, a new 14-inch multimedia system with a Home button, a built-in drive recorder and improved trailer detection that automatically disables the rear parking sensors.

The biggest upgrade might be the new 2.4-kW inverter available with the i-FORCE MAX hybrid. It finally gives Tundra owners meaningful onboard power for tools, camping equipment, battery chargers and other gear.

In this video, I break down the changes, explain why several seemingly small updates matter to truck owners and discuss whether Toyota has done enough to make me reconsider buying another Chevrolet Silverado.

Did Toyota fix the Tundra’s biggest shortcomings? Would you choose the updated Tundra or a Silverado? Let me know in the comments.
