The 2026 Ram 1500 BackCountry is here, and it may be the truck many Ram buyers have been asking for.
Positioned between the Warlock and Rebel, the BackCountry combines off-road capability, factory-installed accessories and a lower price point than a Rebel. It features all-terrain tires, an electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, hill descent control, spray-in bedliner, tonneau cover and Ram's excellent interior.
In this video, I walk around the truck, show you the features, explain where it fits in the Ram lineup and discuss whether it could be the sweet spot for truck buyers.
