Oracle Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Ford Powertrains officially launched their 2026 Formula One campaign in spectacular fashion at Michigan Central Station in Detroit, marking Ford’s historic return to Formula 1 after 22 years.

Hosted in the heart of Ford’s hometown, the event featured Max Verstappen, Red Bull athletes, immersive augmented reality presentations, and the first reveal of the 2026 Oracle Red Bull Racing livery, inspired by the team’s early F1 identity and finished in iconic Ford blue.

A major highlight of the night was the official unveiling of Red Bull Ford Powertrains’ first in-house F1 power unit, named DM01 in honor of the late Dietrich Mateschitz, whose vision set Red Bull on the path to becoming a full works power unit manufacturer.

Technical Director Ben Hodgkinson revealed the name live from Milton Keynes, underscoring how close the project is to running on-track in the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship.
