This day marks the first official handoff of 3 rescue dogs to Utah Beagle Rescue, hosted at the INEOS Dealership in Salt Lake City. With 20 rescue dogs, 6 vehicles, countless volunteers, and one shared mission, this journey showcases the power of teamwork, logistics, and compassion in large-scale animal rescue operations.

Operation Frodo 2025 Day 1: Omaha to Denver | 20 Rescue Dogs, 6 Cars, tons of volunteers, 1 Mission

Operation Frodo 2025 is officially underway. Day 1 takes the rescue convoy from Omaha, Nebraska, to Denver, Colorado, marking the beginning of a nearly 2,000-mile holiday mission to deliver more than 20 rescue dogs to safety, foster homes, and adopters across Utah and the Pacific Northwest.

From December 13–17, 2025, over 20 volunteer drivers, six rescue vehicles, and an incredible network of partners are working together to give these dogs a second chance. This is the fourth annual Operation Frodo, and each mile driven represents hope, teamwork, and lifesaving dedication.

This year’s mission is proudly powered by industry partners including Volkswagen, Toyota, Subaru, Chrysler, INEOS, and Kia, with long-time logistics support from DriveShop. Their vehicles provide safe, reliable, and warm transport for dogs making the final journey toward new beginnings.
