In Santiago, Chile, the fine for not wearing a helmet while riding motorcycles, bicycles, or other cycles is a less serious infraction, carrying a fine ranging from 0.5 to 1 Monthly Tax Unit (UTM). In June 2025, one UTM is equivalent to $68,785, so the fine would be between $34,393 and $68,785, according to Autofact.
