World of Volvo, which is under construction, will become a new Gothenburg landmark located just south of Liseberg, next to the E6 right in the centre of Gothenburg’s new entertainment strip.

In addition to exhibitions, shows and events, the 22,000 sq m building will also accommodate conference rooms, an event hall, a bistro and a restaurant.

Designed by Danish Henning Larsen, the building has a light and airy Scandinavian feel and uses a great many natural materials. The World of Volvo is scheduled for completion by the end of 2023 and will open in early 2024.

Today’s museum in Arendal will become part of the World of Volvo, but not in precisely the same form as today.

When the World of Volvo opens in the beginning of 2024, Volvo Museum will join us to become part of our new meeting place.
